Replacement Nylon Cap for Greaseless HardBall Hitch Ball with 2-5/16" Diameter

This cover was exactly what I needed. I was very disappointed when the cover popped off my hitch. There seemed to be too much slop without it when I had a trailer attached. Apart from the greaseless cover coming off, I had been extremely happy with the overall adjustable hitch. I planned to buy another hitch but without the greaseless ball. When I found this item, I decided to first try this. I set it on top of my old ball, placed a piece of 2x4 on top of it, and struck it with a hammer until it seated properly. I have towed many trailers across the country with this cover installed, and it holds up and performs exactly like my original hitch did. I would now highly recommend the adjustable Anderson hitch with the greaseless balls. etrailer has always been a fantastic company to order products from, and this product arrived quickly and once again did what they claimed the product would do.1594238

Perfect replacement for the original cap which I damaged. Not the fault of the hitch ball design. Too bad they quit selling the hitch balls for WD hitches. I will never go back to greasing hitch balls again. 261945

Great

I’ve had this nylon hitch ball for a few years and really liked it. An unfortunate event cut it. I called etrailer for a replacement. It arrived in a few days. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it snapped on the chrome ball.

The service from etrailer was outstanding and the products arrived sooner than I thought they would. The order was correct and the packaging was extremely good. Also they followed up on my order and kept me informed that it had shipped and when it would arrive. It's about time that a company can actually deliver thier products as they say they can !! The only thing that I was searching for was a 2-5/16" trailer Ball along with my order and the company only had the replacement hard rubber tops, but not the whole assembly if they sell the one piece top they should also sell the whole ball !? Maybe the company will do something about this because most of my equipment uses a 2-5/16" Ball. Thanks again for the great service !!!71373

I use my trailer hitch a lot and this replacement nylon head makes it like new again. Easy to remove old head and snap new one on.496751

Not impressed at all. Caps fall off. Makes getting coupler on the ball a pain in the butt when the cap is gone. Spent too much money on a partially good design of the unit. Don’t use it anymore.850990

Ball cover installed easily. It snapped into place with the whack of a scrap piece of wood. I repositioned my hitch ball so I wouldn't knock this one off. 565919
