Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

P2-Rated Lights

Diagram of light spread for P2 rated light

A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

Product still works with no problem. Recommended for any use.

by:

Very bright, very easy install; only reason for 4 stars is bc I just installed them and can't speak for their longevity; I drilled a small hole in my trailer next to the main mounting hole to poke the wire through, so as not to see the wire; looked very nice.

2/26/2019

As of the last time I launched which was in November the lights still worked great. They have been fully submersed many times in either fresh or salt water.

by:

Very easy to install and look great on trailer. Low profile and small but very bright LED's. They really look much better than the old bulb type I had on there before. I have not "dunked" them in the salt water yet but hopefully they will hold up.

Mark B.

the submersible LED trailer lights are still shining as bright as ever despite repeated dunking in salt water for the past year. These have been a great purchase.

I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found ETRAILER. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. Your helpful how to videos were helpful. And Rose, your personal helpful knowledge made my buying experience very pleasant, I actually enjoyed talking to you! Thanks to ETRAILER and specifically to Rose G.

by:

Very easy to install. Grounds with the same bolt that attaches it to the trailer.

  • LED Trailer Light Kit for Utility Trailers Under 80" With Amber Marker Lights
I recommend the LED Combination Tail Light Kit # TLL9RK as this will give you the LED tail lights and wiring for your trailer. To that you can add the Optronics LED Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL95AB. • Troubleshooting Trailer Running Lights Not Working
There are a number of potential issues that could be causing your running lights not to work, but you will have to troubleshoot the problem with some detail. The first thing to do is take a look at your vehicle's owner's manual to locate any trailer fuses or relays and ensure they are all there and in working order. If they are, in order to determine the specific problem you will need to purchase a circuit tester if you do not have one - the very handy Cordless Circuit Tester # PTW2979...

The bolt on the back of the clearance light # MCL95AB is approximately 5/8 inches long from the back of the light housing to the end of the bolt.
