Durable tie-down straps pair quick-release action with a retractable design for easy loading and unloading. Any unused strap automatically retracts into the housing, and you can quickly release each strap by pushing a button. 1,200 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Tie-downs let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer
  • Retractable straps automatically wind up into the built-in housings with the push of a button
    • Keeps excess strap from tangling or flapping in the wind
  • Ratchet mechanisms make it easy to tighten down straps and maintain tension on straps
    • Handles are easy to grip
  • Push buttons on ratchets quickly and easily release straps when you're ready to unload
  • Zinc-coated steel bodies are corrosion resistant
  • S-hooks have hardened steel cores to ensure that they won't bend or flex
  • Vinyl coating on S-hooks helps prevent scratches on your cargo

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 1" wide x 10' long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 400 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 1,200 lbs
  • Quantity: 2 ratchet straps
  • 90-Day limited warranty

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Love these one-piece self-contained ratchet straps! Really love the one button push-to-return feature!! No more time wasted lining up the slot, trying to pull out the slack with one hand
while ratcheting with the other. Already had a set of these but could not attain more locally. etailer had these in the six foot version, and gave me the option of getting those faster, but opted for the ten-footers I originally ordered, despite a slightly longer wait. Base price was good, with s/h & state tax adding another $10 to the total. Ended up at $20/strap, well worth it in time and frustration saved using conventional 2 pc. style straps. Only wish I could get them even longer, but I'm guessing design limits amount of strap storage available. LOVE these things! Get them and throw your old style straps away.

by:

I just received these yesterday for a trip this weekend so I yet to use them but I got them for their ease of use! The thing I hated about the other ratchet straps was how to deal with all the leftover strap. It was just a little more time consuming having to tie them down in such a way as to not have them blowing in the wind. Yes it is always great to stop every once in a while and check your load and tighten down everything but again, the ease of use it the reason why I bought 4 10 footers!!

by:

Love the design of these ratchet straps. Simple one button retracts strap back into housing. My only wish is that they came in a slightly longer length, say maybe 15' long. This is my second pair. Couldn't be happier!

by:

I use these to secure my mobile scooter
They work great!

Well engineered ratchet straps

The Hand Truck Company, is introducing a new product, the Attachit Strap, a ratchet mount for our multi-directional Hand Truck 360. We needed a ratchet that could safely and easily secure heavy or oversized objects and we found It in Erickson's Retractable Ratchet EM34415. The 1" X 10" length works well to secure appliances, furniture, etc. and also has the ability to secure loads horizontally as well as vertically. The Attachit Strap can be customized to fit any sized hand truck. We received very professional service and quick delivery from etrailer.com.

by:

These straps are awesome. I have 4 to tie down my atv and I got these 2 for strapping our kayaks into their RV hitch mount rack. I'll never buy any other kind of ratchet strap again. These are so easy and convenient to use, very well made, and no long lengths of extra strap always tangling up!

by:

Quick delivery,just what I wanted

by:

So easy to use!

by:

I use these retractable straps now so I don't have to deal with loose strap ends. The quick release button is easier to release and the coated hook ends protect your attachment points.

My first choice from the ion of tie straps I have.

by:

Extremely convenient and useful! These straps are very easy to use, easy to store and secure your load very well. They are much better than a bag of tangled tie-down straps!

I have been using these ratchet straps for a while now and they work great for what I need. They retract when not in use and this makes for a much neater storage.

Still working great!

by:

These ratchet straps are perfect for my hitch rack when traveling. At first I bought just 2 but realized that I was hauling some smaller items and 4 would be better. The straps hold things tight and release easily. Definitely better then the bungee cords I used in the past.

by:

Great straps! Love the retract ability. Easy to put away when your done

The straps are great easy to use and put away.

by:

I love these straps..I have used these on a trailer to secure a RZR. They have not given me an instant of trouble or failed to do what they were designed to do. Initially I used them with no permanent attachment but recently decided to bolt them to the frame of the trailer. I've had several people ask me where I got them and how much they cost. Bottom line is I think these were a great investment and I would buy them again.

by:

My husband hasn't had a chance to use them yet, but is very excited to get rid of his old crappy straps that don't automatically retract!! Plus I originally ordered the wrong item & etrailer was very easy to work with!!!

My husband loves them!! In fact, he even bought more!!!

I am Dr. Richard Pendleton, retired Professor of Mechanical Engineering. My primary field was mechanical design. I recently purchased some of the Erickson re-tractable ratcheting trailer tie-downs. I am very favorably impressed. Commonly products descriptions inflate the value of the product. The web advertisement of these tie-downs did not do that. If anything the ad was an understatement. The video was very helpful and accurate. I am more than pleased with this product. Feel free to use my name and statements as you wish.

by:

I have bought and used all types of tie down straps these are simple and functional and most of all when your done with them the rewind option eliminates dealing with with the straps. In addition it allows you to store multiple sets togeather with out them tangling up and saves time for your next use. Been waiting for these for years I hope they produce a larger version for heavy loads

by:

I own a set of four of these retractable straps but, I recently lost one. Since I could not buy a single strap I ordered this pair. They are superior to the standard ratchet straps that I own.

by:

Love the 10' self storing tie downs. Use them in conjunction with my self storing awning support poles. They work like a charm. Highly recommend them.

by:

Haven't installed it yet but I am prepared to be disappointed.. I bought this one because in the Q&A, the "expert" said you could cut the hose to shorten it. Since the fittings on both end appear to be permanently crimped on, so i don't know how i would reattach it after cutting.
On the plus side, it's a really nice faucet at a good price and it arrived on time and nicely packaged. There weren't any instructions with it but I guess the idea is that if you got the old one out ok you shouldn't need help getting the new one in. might need to re-rate this after installing - we'll see if I can figure out how to shorten the hose

  • Anti-Rattle Functions Included with Hitch-Mount Bike Racks
Many brands and models of hitch-mount bike racks include an anti-rattle device to help control the random motion of the loaded rack while you're underway. Some of these mechanisms include a lock in addition to the anti-rattle function. No matter what brand or design of rack you choose there will always be SOME degree of random rack motion while you drive. No bike rack will be absolutely motionless in the hitch. Generally, the lighter the rack's weight the less it will tend to move within...

If you cannot confirm that the 4 x 4 bumper on your travel trailer has the capacity to handle the weight of your 180-lb generator plus the weight of a bumper-mount hitch and cargo carrier you'd use to hold it, then your best option is to install a frame-mount hitch like Curt # 13703 to hold it all or to use an a-frame front-of-trailer cargo tray like Stromberg Carlson # CC-255 which has a 300-lb capacity.
