Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

these straps are great do exactly what I need them to do.
Product was easy to open , ratchet closed, and seems very workable for my purpose , which was to hold my kayak upon my trailer. I think it will all work well, since I did not need any heavy duty type of tiedowns.
The Re-Tractable Rachel straps are a game changer. Securely holding down heavy loads

The best straps Ive ever used. Easy to use and secure. Better than any rachet strap ever made. Mount securely where you need it and never worry again
Good quality and provides secure strapping. Only wish the hooks a strung clips to retain secure hook up.
I love these. I have such a hard time releasing other brands. My husband introduced these to me a few years ago because I needed something easier to use. Since his passing is up to me now so these are a must have in the Jeep.
Previously purchased these straps and was very pleased, so I got more to handle rest of our atv's.

Great does what i need and very reliable and easy to use.
Have not used it yet to move utility trailer. Parts seem very sturdy and heavy duty steel. Instruction sheet for assembly is pictorial. Easy enough to put together but instructions would benefit by id'ing which of the length bolts go with certain assembly parts.
E-trailer service and delivery was exceptional. I will not hesitate to recommend them to others. Numerous contacts via email to let me know status of order and who to call if I was not happy. Fast delivery.

I am very pleased with both products. I use the tie downs about once a week and they still operate like new. The hitch lifter has been a God send for me moving a folding trailer that weighs about 400 lb. I am 66 with rods in my back and can move the trailer, even uphill on grade with one hand.
I use these buckledowns to secure my tractor to its trailer. I volunteer snow plow a walking rail-to-trail in my town of Avon, CT. They are ridiculously simple to use and very suited to the purpose of preventing the 1,500 lb. tractor from sliding around on the slippery/icy trailer bed.

I bought for my hubby to use to tie down his Mid Size Polaris UTV to the trailer and not have the extra piece of the straps blow in the wind. He hasn't used them as intended (deer season is over -- I bought them too late) but he has played with them and so far he is totally impressed with what he sees.
The ratchets work very well and I've used them quite often. The only draw back is I wish the straps were longer. Otherwise a very good product.
Works great for holding my liquid oxygen reservoir in place in my Chevy HHR. Easy to use. Shipping was FAST. Thanks.

Still doing itso job.
I love these retractable ratchet straps. Secure your cargo and don't have to worry about dangling strap ends that usually end up with knots.
These are pretty slick I have five tie downs tangled in the back of my truck at all times. I will probably use them on my motorcycle lift table They are slick I do worry about how the elements will treat them (back of the truck)
I don't use ratchet types much but this solves all the problems that ratchets have
Works great for securing my ATV's and Side by Side on our trailer.
I use the ratchet straps to tie down the cover on my bass boat. Easy to use and make sure that the cover is tight and keeps the rain water and trash out of the boat.
Product is exactly as advertised. It does a fine job of tying down a 4-wheeler or motor-bike less the hassle of the straps flailing in the wind. Compact and easily stored between uses. The value of the self-contained webbing exceeds the extra cost of retraction.
I just recieved these straps to secure mynew jet ski on the trailer. They were just what I was looking for, the way they hold tight and no loose strap, and I'm very satisfied as I have been with other products I have purchased from Etrailer.com. Definately recomend.
e trailer had great communication from the minute I ordered, I knew exactly where my order was. The ratchet straps are great I am going to order the heavier ones also.
I bought these to use as transom hold down straps for a lightweight fishing boat. The straps fit the bill and they appear to be of decent quality.
They are much easier to use and you don't end up with a tangled mess like the ones that do not Auto retract! Storage is much easier.

Peter Creager update: They turned into a piece of crap. One got stuck, had to cut the nylon in half in order to free up my kayak. Something inside must of broke. The other one is working fine so far. I would of never ordered this type. I would of paid more money and got a better product.
