Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Lift Spacers Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring 1-1/4 Inch Lift - F2536

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a real quick look at these Lift Spacers for your Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. These spacers are going to allow your air springs to be installed on vehicles with a one and a quarter inch lift, and from six and a half inches to seven and a half inches between your upper and lower brackets. And this spacer must be the same size as your lift kit rise. Now, these spacers attach between the bottom of the lower bracket, and the bottom of the spring on vehicles, again, with that one and a quarter inch lift. And these are going to fit Ride-Rite model F2286, if manufactured after February 1st of 2006.

However, these will not fit Ride-Rite models F2350, or F2286. Now, this includes everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get these two lift spacers, the necessary bolts. And then a sheet with a diagram here, giving you an overview of the installation process. That's gonna conclude our brief look today.

I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

These spacers worked great on my 2008 Toyota Tundra. I needed them after adding a lift on the rear of my truck.

by:

Worked as described I had an add a leaf on my tundra that gave me about 1.5-1.75" lift. Bolted right up, only reason it's not 5 stars is there was one bolt missing.

by:

Exactly what I ordered. Thanks etrailer!

by:

Works well. I have 1.5" spacer blocks for my leaf springs. This allowed me to use the Firestone Air Bags.

Still love it, works great, no issues. Definitely makes a difference with heavy loads, ride is much smoother.

by:

Perfect fit for my 2006 Toyota Tundra 4x4 with a 6” lift. My truck has add-a-leaf load helpers in the rear so the spacers were needed for firestone airbags. Good product, easy installation.

  • Can I Install Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs On 2019 Toyota Tundra With Fox 2.5 Shocks
Yes, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2445 will work fine with the Fox 2.5 Shocks installed on the 2019 Toyota Tundra Pro as confirmed by Firestone. However, if the Fox springs are installed to increase the vehicle height you may need a spacer to install the air bags. You would need to measure from the frame of your truck and the axle to know which spacer is needed. Bracket Spacing (in.) 6.5 to 7.5-inches use spacer # F2536 7.5 to 8.5-inches use spacer # F2366 8.5 to...

I do have a list of spacers that you can choose from so you can continue to use the Firestone Ride-Rite air bags on your 2016 Dodge Ram 2500. All you need to do is measure where your current brackets mount and then add 1-1/4" since that's what it sounds like you will be adding to the back of your pickup: 6-1/2" - 7-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2536 7-1/2" - 8-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2366 8-1/2" - 9-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2367 9-1/2" - 10-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2370 11-1/2" - 12-1/2" - Lift Spacer...

To determine if lift spacers are needed to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2558 on your 2018 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4, you'll need to measure the distance between the top and bottom mounting brackets (see photo). Make sure your truck has all four wheels on ground or is up on jack stands and there is no load on the bed. You will then select the right spacer using the following measurements: 6.5" - 7.5" distance between brackets - use 1.25" lift spacer # F2536 7.5" -...

  • What Size Spacer Do I Need for a Firestone Air Bag System on a Lifted Chevy Silverado?
I would be happy to help you but there are so many different lift options its going to require you to take some measurements of your Chevy Silverado 2500's suspension. Most lift kits don't lift the same amount in the front as they do the back, so a 3-1/2" lift may only have 1"-1-1/2" of lift in the rear. The most accurate way to tell what spacer is needed is to measure. I attached a photo that shows where to measure, and the size of lift spacer needed. You'll want to make sure that your...

For your 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon with a 2" lift I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2598. Air bags are the best option for additional support, especially with your lift. These offer 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity and can be adjusted depending on what you're towing or hauling. The pressure can also be reduced to the minimum when you aren't towing or hauling so they won't impact your ride. Keep in mind, no suspension enhancement will increase the payload and...

  • Will the Firestone Ride Rite Air Helper Springs Work W/ a Lifted 2017 Ford F-250
Yes the springs will work, but you're likely going to need to add a spacer. Just because you have a 3.5" lift does not necessarily mean you'll need a 3" spacer, so you're going to need to install the upper and lower mounting brackets and measure the distance between them. For a 1 1 /4" spacer you'll want # F2536, for a 2" spacer you'll want # F2366, for a 3" spacer you'll want # F2367, and for a 4" spacer you'll want # F2370. • How to Determine Air Bag Spacer Needed to Install Firestone Ride-RiteAIr Bags for 3 Lift
Air bag installation in a lifted truck can require lift spacers to bring the air bag's upper and lower brackets to the appropriate spacing for proper operation. Sometimes this means that a "3-inch lift" will need a spacer kit but this may not actually be a 3-inch spacer; the key is to measure the placement of the brackets in your application. For the Firestone rear-axle air bag kit # F2430 (that fits your 1500, both 2WD and 4WD) you'll want to check the installed locations of the upper...

If the 1 inch lift at the back of your 2007 Toyota Tundra increased the distance between the frame and the axle, also by 1 inch, then you might need a spacer kit. The shortest spacer kit for Firestone Ride-Rite air bags is 1-1/4 inches, # F2536. What I recommend is to go with Timbren springs, # TTORTUN4. Then you could add a couple of 1 inch spacers, # A25723-90AH00, which are 1 inch.
