Video Transcript for Timbren Vehicle Suspension TA25723-90AD00 Review

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Timbren half inch spacer for raised frame vehicles. Timbren recommends that you have a half inch, inch and a half of clearance between the Timbren and the contact point when your vehicle isn't under a load. If the clearance is more than what's recommended then a spacer is the ideal solution for you. It installs easily and allows you to have full function of your Timbren suspension system even though you're working with a vehicle that has a raised frame. This one measures a half inch thick. The bushing in the center is a half inch bushing, that's the diameter of the hole. Remember that you may need longer hardware since you're adding the spacer to your set up.

You can go to your local hardware shop, pick something up. That's exactly what we do when we install these on customer vehicles here in our shop. Overall diameter of the unit, edge to edge, is four inches. Again, thickness is a half inch thick. With this part number you get one spacer.

I also want to mention that we do offer this spacer in a one inch thickness that's available at etrailer.com with part number TA25723-90AD00. And again, you can view that at etrailer.com. That's going to do it for today's look at the Timbren half inch spacer for raised frame vehicles.

This system works exactly as intended and helps your primary suspension when under heavy loads. Wouldn't be able to haul as much/often as I do in my lifted 4Runner without these because my loads vary due to hauling brush/wood in my 5x8 dump trailer.

by:

Fast shipping, parts look great

by:

Worked well in my application.

by:

The 1" spacers worked perfectly to make up the space difference on my lifted truck, well made item, Silverado with 3" lift-level.

by:

Added these to bump stops compensate for 1-1/2” coil spring lift kit on Toyota FJ Cruiser. This allows for rear tire clearance when using 33” Mud Tires.

Good investment for my FJ Cruiser. Firmer more controlled ride especially off-road.

by:

Good product quality, and thanks for having these spacers!

by:

This Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System I purchased fit perfect , Install took me about 1/2 hour, with this installed I don't have to worry installing air bag system, also my PU still has its good ride when empty

by:

Good product. Has dried out some due to being on the underside of a vehicle but still works as intended.

by:

Sent the wrong items the first time, and this order was over the phone and was told what I needed and was only advised to order one when I needed two.

  • How Many Lift Spacers are Needed for Timbren Springs on a Lifted 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500
Finding the correct spacer(s) for a lifted truck can be a little tricky sometimes due to the number of lift kits out there. The best way to determine how many spacers you need for the Timbren Suspension Kit, # TGMRCK15S, for your 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 is to measure the distance from the underside of your frame where your bump stop sits to the axle directly below where the spring makes contact. The spring and bracket in this kit measure 5 inches tall unloaded and the spring should...

  • What Spacers are Available To Accommodate a 6" Lift on My 1995 Ford F-250
Depending on the size of the bolt on your 1995 Ford F-250, we have a couple of options for spacers. Timbren does recommend 1/2" to 1 1/2" clearance between your Timbren and the contact point when the truck isn't under a load. The spacer is a solution if there is more than that clearance. If your bolt is a 1/2" bolt you will need the Timbren 1" Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles - 1/2" bushing # TA25723-90AD00 or the Timbren 1/2" Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles - 1/2" bushing # TA25722-90F00. • Height of Timbren # TTORSEQ and Spacers Needed for Lifted Truck
I went out to our warehouse and measured an overall height with the mounting bracket of 5 inches for the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORSEQ. Timbren recommends having a 1/2 inch to 1-1/2 inches between the spring and the axle when the truck is empty so if you measure between the frame where your bump stop is mounted and the axle and get greater than 6-1/2 inches you will want to fill that gap with a spacer or two. We have 1 inch Spacers with # TA25723-90AD00 or 1/2 inch...

  • How To Prevent Sag While Towing with a Lifted 2012 Nissan Xterra
I do have an option for you but the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-210-47 are not the best option for a lifted vehicle because they don't come with spacers nor are they offered separately. The option to make your own spacers is certainly possible however, if you use the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System part # TJRC01 which is a very similar kit you can use a combination of both part # TA25723-90AD00 and part # TA25722-90F00 until you get the gap down to 1/2"-1-1/2"....

  • Bump Stops for a Timbren Rear Suspension Kit on a Lifted 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500
The best way to determine how many spacers you need for the Timbren Suspension Kit item # TGMRCK15S, for your 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500, is to measure the distance from the underside of your frame where your bump stop sits to the axle directly below where the spring makes contact. The spring and bracket in this kit measure 5 inches tall unloaded and the spring should sit about 1 inch above your axle once it is installed with no load in the truck. From here, measure the frame to axle distance...

  • Timbren Suspension Kit for a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 with 2" Block in Rear
Thanks for reaching out, Chris! I couldn't find that part either but I bet they are referring to the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRTT35D along with a spacer kit to take up that extra spacing. If your vehicle frame is the same height as it was before the lift then you don't need a spacer, but if that 2" lift increased your frame height then you'll need to use the 1" Spacer # TA25723-90AD00 (1 for each side) and get some longer mounting bolts from your local hardware store.

  • Suspension Enhancement and WDS for 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Hauling Lawn Equipment Trailer
The first thing I suggest is that you ensure there is a Weight Distribution System being used with the trailer set-up. There may still be need/benefit of suspension enhancement to the truck even after a WDS is installed, but this should be first priority in arranging a safe towing situation for something with that much weight. Please note the link to help articles below on this subject, hopefully you will find these to be of value and assist in making an informed decision. Please checkout...

  • Suspension Enhancement to Help Sag of 2016 Toyota Tundra With Lift
To help with the sag of your 2016 Toyota Tundra I recommend going with Timbrens, as they are designed to take the brunt of the added weight when you tow. They will engage when needed to counteract both sag and body roll to help level your truck, while also stabilizing it to help combat sway. You'll need spacers as well, but first, the correct fit for Timbrens on a 2016 Toyota Tundra are the following: - Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T62FR The springs and bracket have a total...

The 1" spacer included with the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS45FR for your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited allows you to place more preload on the spring. This will reduce the amount of sag when loaded versus without the spacer. If your have a 2" lift that raises the rear suspension you will likely need additional Spacers # TA25723-90AD00 to be able to use the Sumosprings. You will also need to source the correct length bolts locally as the included bolts are only designed for...

  • Rear Helper Springs for a 2006 Toyota 4Runner with 1 Inch Rear Lift Kit
If you are getting a lift kit on your 2006 Toyota 4Runner then air bags that fit inside the coil springs are not going to work. There are no spacers to make up for the additional space created by the lift kit for the coil spring air bags. The exception is if you were to have a body lift instead of a suspension lift since in that case there would not be any extra space. There are spacers available for the Timbren systems though so I recommend going with # TTORSEQ. If the lift kit does add...

As you mentioned your 2019 Nissan Titan being a work truck there will be another option, but there is no spacer available for the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS95GR, unfortunately. With that said, as the # SS95GR is rated to 1,500 pounds of capacity, you may want to go with a higher rated product, like the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TNRTTN. This will have a 6,000 pound capacity and will do a better job for getting rid of the sag, but I do have to mention...

  • Will Installing Timbren SES Affect Offroad Performance Of A 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro
Hey Carlos, Yes, installing the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T45MR will affect your ride quality and handling while off-roading in your Tundra. These springs provide a cushion between your frame and axle so that the harsh bumps over rough terrain won't throw you around. Timbrens are well known within the off-roading/overlanding community as the gold standard for suspension enhancement so you're making a solid choice. Timbren recommends a 1" gap between the axle and spring...

I recommend the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TFF2504 which is the only fit we have for your 1976 Ford F-250 4x4. This will help absorb road shock and improve the stability of your truck.

It will give you a progressive support as it provides additional support as needed to increase stability while reducing body roll and vehicle sag. It will not change the factory ride when not hauling a load, but will engage as needed for payload and towing.
