Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Vehicle Suspension - Lift Spacers - F2368

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a 3" lift. Now these parts here will let you install your Ride-Rite Air Springs on a lifted vehicle using these lift spacers. Basically, these spacers will attach between the bottom of your lower bracket and the bottom of the spring on vehicles with a 3" lift. Now, Firestone does offer these spacers and a rise anywheres from two inches all the way up to six inches. This part here is for a 3" lift, and just to show you, put a ruler on that.

There you can see is your 3" measurement. How to install these, the distance on your vehicle between the upper and lower brackets must be between eight and a half and nine and a half inches. The spacer must be the same size as your lift kit rise, and this lift spacer needs to match the amount of lift added to the rear of your vehicle. This part will include these two lift spacers and all the hardware you can see here that's necessary for installation. The lift spacer fits the axle mounted air springs.

Now these spacers can be used with most Ride-Rite air spring kits. This part here will not fit Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286 but they will fit Ride-Rite model F2286 if it's manufactured after February 1st, 2006. But that should do it for the review on these lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a 3" lift.

  • How To Tell What Size Firestone Lift Spacers Are Needed On A Truck With A 6 Inch Lift Kit
To determine what size lift spacer to use on your vehicle with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs, measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets of your air helper spring kit, and whether the kit mounts on the leaf spring or the axle. The spacer needs to be the same length as the amount of lift applied to the axle on which the air helper spring is installed. The axle mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted to the axle. The leaf mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted...

  • Firestone Air Bag Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2010 GMC 2500 with 4 inch Lift
For your 2010 GMC Sierra 2500HD with a 4 inch lift we have the Firestone kit part # F2250 which is a confirmed fit and will work well. Since you have a lift you'd want the 3 inch spacer kit part # F2368 which will make up for the additional height of the lift kit so that the air bags make contact when needed. I prefer to recommend the Firestone kits as they make the highest quality air bags on the market.

The spacer height must be the same as the lift height and these are 3 inch spacers. • Firestone Ride Rite Air Bag Suspension Kit Recommendation for 2014 Ford F-250 with Lift Kit
The Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2597 is what your 2011 Ford F-250 would have installed and is also the same kit that's recommended for your 2014 model. So basically you just need to go with a spacer kit for the size lift you have installed on the newer truck. So if you had a 2 inch lift you'd need part # F2366. 6 inch lift part # F2375 3 inch lift part # F2368 4 inch lift part # F2371.

  • Spacer for Firestone Ride Rite Air Suspension Kit Installed on 2013 Toyota Tundra w/4 Inch Lift
According to my Firestone representative, you'll need to measure the existing space between the upper and lower brackets once the lift has been completed. Ideally, you'd see about 6 inches between the two brackets. If that's the case, Firestone tells me a spacer won't be needed. If the distance between the brackets is greater than 6 inches, you'll need a spacer whose thickness is the same as the gap. For instance, if the distance between the brackets measures about 8 inches, you'd want...

  • How to Determine Correct Spacers For Firestone Air Bags on 2016 Chevy Silverado w/ 3-1/2 Inch Lift
There are likely going to be some spacers that will work for you, though to find the correct ones you'll actually need to do some measuring during the install on your 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 of the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2709. The reason for that is a 3-1/2 inch suspension lift does not necessarily mean your truck was lifted 3-1/2 inches. Thanks for the photo. Based on your specific setup you won't need a spacer like the # F2368 because the bracket sits at the lip above the lift block. You will however need to get hardware long enough to span that extra lift block distance.
