Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Vehicle Suspension - Lift Spacers - F2371

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at these four inch Lift Spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a four inch lift. Now, these parts here will let you install your Ride-Rite air springs on a lifted vehicle by using these lift spacers. These spacers are designed to attach between the bottom of the lower bracket and the bottom of the spring on your vehicles with a four inch lift. Now, we do also sell other ones that are offer, they'll go anywhere, as they offer kits for a two inch lift, all the way up to a six inch lift.

This part here is for a four inch lift. Basically, the way you decide if these will work for you, you wanna measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets on your vehicle, and there must be between nine and a half and 10 and a half inches for these to work. Basically, the spacer must be the same size as the lift kit rise. So, this lift spacer needs to match the amount of lift that's added to the rear of your vehicle. This does include the two lift spacers and all the hardware necessary for installation.

The lift spacer fits the axle mounted air springs, and these spacers can be used with most Ride-Rite air spring kits. But that should do it for the review on the four inch Lift Spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs on vehicles with a four inch lift.

Better then Pictured! I initially installed my Firestone Bags without these spacers but quickly learned that I was going to need them due to my F250 having a 6" lift. I bought the 4" spacers due to the measurements from my bottom bracket to my top bracket between the bag and it is perfect now. The items in the product description kinda look weak but trust me, these things are big and meaty and extremely well built.

Heads up for everyone ordering...
You will always see descriptions for these as either axle mount or leaf mount. Well... my Firestone kit is actually installed to the side of the leafs and the bracket slides over the bottom jounce stop. I went ahead and got the axle mount spacers but knew I was taking a risk. I made it work though and both spacers went in in about 30 minutes.

When I installed the spacers I just made sure to use some locktite on my bottom bolt. The entire setup feels VERY sturdy so I'm not worried about it at all. As always, Etrailer support was fantastic.

My vehicle is a 2003 Ford E350 4X4 Sportsmobile. The product quality is excellent but the 2061 kit required a lot of workarounds, cutting and drilling. When it looked like the 2061 would not fit, I had to call Firestone. The tech said that I needed a 4" spacer from Firestone. It took two of us 3 days to install the first air bag. Hopefully, the second will take less time as we are working outside.

They are built of great quality and seem very strong however, I was unable to utilize them for my airbag install. Even though I installed an 6inch suspension lift on my 2006 Dodge 3500 2wd, the lift is misleading. I installed the airbag plates and measured to get an accurate measurement. According to the measurements, I required the 2in spacer for the bags and they were of the same quality as these. Great product!

  • Recommended Firestone Air Spring Kit for 2017 Toyota Tacoma with 4 Inch Lift
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2407 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2017 Toyota Tacoma if it is the 4WD model. If you have a true 4 inch suspension lift on your Tacoma (and not just a body lift), then you will likely need a spacer kit with the Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. We do have a 4 inch lift kit with part # F2371. These spacers will attach between the bottom of the lower bracket and the bottom of the spring on your truck. If you have a body...

If the spacing between the upper and lower brackets on your lifted 2006 Silverado 2500 is 10-inches as you indicate, this falls into the operating height range for the Firestone Lift Spacers # F2371. These are normally intended for trucks with a 4-inch lift, but if your truck's brackets are this distance apart these should work. I was not able to find any purchase history to confirm the air bag kit you're using but a long as it is a compatible Firestone kit these should work well. The...

  • What Is the Correct Spacer Kit for My Vehicle W/ A 4-1/2" Rough Country Lift?
It'll likely be fine to use the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2371 on your vehicle, however to be sure you're going to need to measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets. If that measurement is between 9-1/2" to 10-1/2", then the # F2371 is the correct spacer. If the distance is between 7-1/2" to 8-1/2", then the correct spacers are # F2366, If the distance is between 8-1/2" to 9-1/2", then the correct spacers are # F2367, If the distance...

  • Correct Lift Spacer Needed for Installing Ride-Rite Airbags on a 2013 f150 with a rough country 6in
That looks like a 4 inch lift block on your 2013 Ford F-150. Typically this is the size of block used for "6 inch lifts" which is a very common lift from Rough Country for your 2013 Ford F-150. So to use a Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2525 you'd need the 4 inch spacer kit part # F2371 and you'd be set. I attached an install video for this kit on a similar F-150 as well.

According to my Firestone representative, you'll need the # F2371 spacer kit, which you can see by clicking the provided link. This spacer is compatible with the Ride-Rite # F2350, which is the correct Ride-Rite application for your truck. I don't have an installation video for the spacers, but the spacers install between the mounting bracket and the underside of the air spring, as shown in the instructions I'll send to you. • Recommended Suspension Enhancement and Towing Parts for a Lifted 2018 Ford F-150 and 10K Trailer
I'll start off by saying the best way to tow is without a lift kit or bigger tires on any pickup because the more height you add the easier it is for your vehicle to squat and the more difficult it can be to find the correct components for towing. With that being said, there are people out there who still tow safely with a lifted truck so it is definitely possible. If you decide to go ahead with the customization, it sounds like the weight you will be towing with your 2019 Ford F-150 will...

Since there are no 6 inch spacers to use with the Timbren springs # TUR350 using them on a truck with a 6 inch lift like your 2010 Ford F-350 would render the springs useless. • Best Way to Level a Jeep Wrangler Towing a Travel Trailer
I have a better solution that I can provide for you, but Firestone does not have spacers available for their Coil Rite system anyway so suspension enhancement would not work. What you would want is a weight distribution system. A WD system also levels the tow vehicle like suspension enhancement, but it does so by distributing some of the trailer tongue weight up to the front axle of the vehicle. This greatly helps handling and braking. The best way to pick out a weight distribution system...

Firestone tells us that their # F2550 is compatible with name-brand gooseneck and 5th wheel hitches, including your B&W # BWGNRK1108 Turnover Ball hitch. The Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2597 is what your 2011 Ford F-250 would have installed and is also the same kit that's recommended for your 2014 model.
