How to Measure To Determine Correct Firestone Lift Spacers for Ride-Rite Kit on 2018 Nissan Frontier

Question:

I just purchased part # F2558. I have a 1.5inch add a leaf in the rear suspension and 5100s in the front adding 1.5. Do I need spacers or airbag cradles to make the airbags work on my vehicle? Thank you!

To determine if lift spacers are needed to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2558 on your 2018 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4, you'll need to measure the distance between the top and bottom mounting brackets (see photo). Make sure your truck has all four wheels on ground or is up on jack stands and there is no load on the bed. You will then select the right spacer using the following measurements:

6.5" - 7.5" distance between brackets - use 1.25" lift spacer # F2536

7.5" - 8.5" distance between brackets - use 2" lift spacer # F2366

8.5" - 9.5" distance between brackets - use lift 3" spacer # F2367

9.5" - 10.5" distance between brackets - use 4" lift spacer # F2370

11.5" - 12.5" distance between brackets - use 6" lift spacer # F2374

Please note that a the number of inches on your lift is not equal to the number of inches on your spacer. For example, a six inch lift does not mean you need a six inch lift spacer. Airbag cradles are not required for your vehicle, but if installed, they would provide more suspension movement, specifically beneficial for off-road use.
