Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Lift Spacers For Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - F2374

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at these Lift Spacers for your Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. These spacers are going to allow your leaf-mounted air springs to be installed on vehicles with a six inch lift, and from 11 and a half inches to 12 and a half inches between your upper and lower brackets. And the spacer kit must be the same size as the lift kit rise. Now, these spacers attach between the bottom of the lower bracket, and the bottom of the spring on vehicles with the six inch lift.

And this is going to fit Ride-Rite model F2286, if manufactured after February 1st, 2006. However, these will not fit Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286, so just so you're aware of that. This does include everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to receive these two lift spacers, and then all of the necessary hardware and instructions to walk you through the installation process. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today.

I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

I appreciate you reaching out. The air bags worked great. I sold the truck a month later but now I have another truck I may be looking to do the same to

Tall spacer do not allow for correct geometry on 2008 Silverado. I went with the 4" spacer on my 6" lift and it works great!

  • What Size are the Air Bags for Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label for a 2019 Ram 2500
For your 2019 Ram 2500 the correct Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label air bag kit is part # F2706. The air bags in the kit have a maximum diameter of 7.52 inches at the widest point, compressed height of 3 inches, and extended height of 8.91 inches. However if your truck is lifted a spacer may be required to make up for the additional height. I have attached a photo of where to measure, and once you find that distance you can choose from the following if a spacer is needed. 6-1/2" - 7-1/2"...

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a Lifted 2011 Toyota Tundra
This will depend on how your 2011 Toyota Tundra was lifted. If it was a body/frame lift, then the SumoSprings # SSR-610-54 will work. This style of lift does not affect the suspension and basically keeps it stock, for the lack of a better word. However, if it was a suspension lift that was done, then they will not fit. This style of lift creates too much of a gap for the # SSR-610-54 to supply any kind of support. That being said, you are not completely out of luck with a suspension lifted...

  • Do I Need Lift Spacers with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs?
You will need to add spacers, since you're right on the edge of the requirements, but the # F2366 would not be the correct size. Firestone has put together a chart/list that you can use to help you determine what kind of spacer you need. Since the distance between your brackets is 6-1/2", you should use the Firestone Lift Spacer # F2356 according to the chart/list below. Distance between top and bottom bracket: 6-1/2" - 7-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2536 7-1/2" - 8-1/2" - Lift Spacer # F2366 8-1/2"...

For that much of a lift the only option is an air bag setup like the Firestone part # F2430 and a 6 inch spacer kit part # F2374 for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ. The other suspension enhancement kits do not have options that allow for compensating for a 6 inch lift.

  • Recommended Firestone Air bag Kit For a Lifted 2002 Ford F-350
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2590 will definitely fit your 2002 Ford F-350 Dually, but the lift will need a few extra parts to get it installed. First and foremost, the stock jounce bumper spacers must still be on the vehicle for installation. From there, you will need to select the correct spacer to coincide with the amount of lift you have on the vehicle like the Firestone # F2366. This does not mean a 2 inch lift uses a 2 inch spacer, however. You will need to go off...

At the 5psi minimum recommended by Firestone, installing their # F2582 Ride-Rite kit will not change your existing ride height, as long as your suspension isn't worn and is in good working order. If the suspension is worn, it could slightly raise the ride height. Also, you might need a lift spacer depending on how much lift has been added. If the lift is less than 1-1/2 inches, you won't need a lift spacer, according to Firestone. If the lift is greater than 1-1/2 inches, you will need...

  • Firestone Air Bag Kit Recommendation for 2016 Ford F-250
For your 2016 Ford F-250 we have the Firestone kit part # F2597 which will work great, but we don't have a way to install these with an 8 inch lift. The tallest lift we have a spacer for is 6 inch like the part # F2374. Basically the only option we have would be for you to go down to a 6 inch lift and then use the spacer # F2374.

  • Rear Air Bag Recommendation for 2003 Ford F-250 With 6-Inch Lift Kit
Finding a compatible rear-axle air bag kit for your 2003 F-250 with 6-inch lift will hinge on whether your truck has a body lift or a suspension lift. If its a body lift, then you can use rear-axle kit # F2550 (that fits both 2WD and 4WD versions) without the need for spacers. If your truck has a suspension lift then you will need to add spacers # F2374. Firestone has 6 inch spacer kit for use with their kits as part # F2374. But you have to determine first if your lift is all suspension or if it's a body lift and suspension lift combination which is most common on lifts of your size. Basically the spacer you'll need is the amount the suspension height changed. So let's say your lift was a 4 inch suspension lift with a 2 inch body lift. You do not need to have the jounce stop installed on your 2016 Ford F-250 to install the Ride Rite kit part # F2582 as removing the jounce is actually the first step when installing this kit. Since you have a lift kit though you will need a spacer kit to take up the extra room created by the lift. • Can Firestone Ride Rite Kit Install on Truck with 6 inch Lift
Yes, Firesone makes lift spacers like the part # F2374 which allows their air bag kits like the part # F2582 to fit on vehicles with lifts. The spacer # F2374 is a 6 inch spacer which would be what you need if your lift raised the suspension of your truck 6 inches. A lot of times a 6 inch lift really lifts about 5 inches so if that's the case for you you'd instead want the part # F2373 for a 5 inch spacer kit.
