Curt 1-1/4 inch Hitch Drawbar Review- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Curt Class II Draw Bar. Now, this is gonna be for an inch and a quarter inch hitch, and it's gonna have a 3 1/8 inch rise. Now, we have our Class II hitch on our Malibu here today, and normally, you kinda don't think about pulling a trailer with something like this, but if you have a small utility trailer or even some jet skis, something along those lines, you need a ball mount to accomplish that. And this is gonna be a great option for those inch and a quarter inch hitches, and being a Class II, it's gonna have decent capacity surprisingly, so your gross trailer weight rating is gonna be 3,500 pounds, so the weight of the trailer plus the accessories loaded, as well as a tongue weight rating of 350. So if you have a small trailer, this is gonna work great, just make sure you're checking your hitch and your vehicle before just hooking up and towing. Now, this draw bar does not come with a pin and clip to keep this in place, so you're gonna wanna pick one of those up, maybe even a locking one, that way, you can leave the ball mount on the vehicle. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at this BMW Tow and Stow Three Ball Mount for your two inch hitches. Now, this BMW Tow and Stow adjustable ball mount's going to slide right into your two inch hitch receiver and lets you tow a variety of trailers with different tongue heights. This comes with a one and seven eighths inch, two inch, and a two in five 16th inch hitch balls to allow for even more flexibility, making this a great ball mount to consider if you own multiple trailers. Now, the strength of this Tow and Stow is that when you are not towing, you can flip this ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch, so you won't bang up your legs or your shins when you are walking behind your vehicle. So, I'm just removing the pins and clips here, just to give you a brief demonstration of how you can stow this. Obviously, this is going to work quite a bit easier when you have this in your two inch hitch, but as you can see, you can just slide the ball platform all the way down and then flip it behind and then that's going to give you a flush back here. more

Gen-Y Stacked Receivers Torsion 2-Ball Mount Review- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, will be taking a look at our Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount with the stacked receiver for three inch hitches right here at etrailer. So this is a Gen-Y Torsion, because this helps absorb that movement. So when you're driving around, you have something hitched up, there is gonna be chucking, there is gonna be movement, but this helps absorb that movement rather than moving it all around. The way this does that is you do have bushings inside of there. So you're gonna have these tubes with the rubber cords on there, so as it rises and falls, it helps absorb that, but it also prevents it from twisting too far, and rather than air bags that you have to fill up and maintain, this all works inside the ball mount, you do have some zerk fittings, which can help maintain for the long term. And so, if you don't wanna deal with air bags, you want something you can just pop into your hitch and then go, this might work out for you. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at E-Trailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Class 1 drawbar four-inch and a quarter-inch hitches with a five-inch rise. Now, being Class 1 means that the weight capacities for this aren't particularly large, but it's going to match up two small capacities that the vehicle, as well, as this small trailer have. And it's gonna be coming in at a gross trailer weight rating of two thousand pounds which is gonna be the weight of this trailer plus the accessories loaded onto it. And also our tongue weight, which is gonna be pushing down here. And it's gonna be the pressure here on the inside of the receiver tube opening. That's gonna be two hundred pounds. more

Now this is my own personal vehicle and while I don't really tow trailers with it much, being able to hook up to this utility trailer to just move my riding mower around or even take it to the track to load up some supplies is really nice to have that option. And this ball mount does a really good job of keeping our tongue nice and level and also giving it a clean look in the process. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at e-trailer. And today we're taking a look at the Curt Class II Drawbar with 5" rise, 4" and 1/4" hitches. Now this is my own personal Fiesta, and while the ground clearance is very low it doesn't mean that I can't pull a trailer. I have a hitch, so I'm able to put a drawbar in like we have here. And me having that 5" rise is gonna allow me to have this tongue nice and level out, that way I can move my riding mower or even load up some track day supplies. Now, obviously before hooking up to the trailer you're gonna want to adhere to the weight capacities, and that's kind of the norm for any vehicle that you're gonna tow with. more

Now a Euro Ball Mount, you may not see that often. Normally, you're gonna see a traditional ball mount with a ball that needs to be installed, and that's not a bad option, but really, if you kind of have it set up to exactly where you need to hook up to your trailer, these are really great, not only because you don't have to buy a separate ball, but you don't have to torque that ball down when you put it on there. And they do just kind of take up a little bit less space, so you have a nice cleaner look. And when you're not using it you can store it away, no problem. A little bit smaller than your normal ball mount. And overall, it just gives you a little bit cleaner look. more

Now this powder coated steel adjustable ball mount has the 2 inch hitch ball that'll let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. The shank right here, this is what'll slide into your 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver, and it secures to your hitch using this included 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin and clip. Now the 2 inch hitch ball provides the connection point for your trailer coupler, we did mention this comes with this 2-5/16 standard clamshell adapter. And basically what this is, it's a stainless steel adapter that if you open it up, put it over the 2 inch ball, push it closed, the magnets lock together, and that'll give you a 2-5/16 size towing option. more

Now, this ball mount with the built-in hitch balls is going to let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle, with a 2 1/2 inch hitch receiver and the adjustable height is going to let you tow trailers of different heights with the same vehicle. You can easily slide the ball platform up or down along the channel and secure it in place with the included pin and clips. So, I'm gonna go ahead and give you brief demonstration of that. We're gonna go ahead and remove our clips and then turn this around and remove our pins, and you can see just how easily those pins are going to slide out. The good thing about this RV towing starter kit is it's gonna give you the basics of what you actually need to tow that trailer or that camper. It's gonna give you some friction sway control so that if you have just a mild amount of sway you can still adjust and kind of fix that up and just get that trailer centered behind you. It's gonna give you a RockerBall ball mount which is gonna give you a little bit more of adjustability as well. This basically allows us to adjust the ball mount up and down through this channel to adjust for different heights. We can get a significant drop, flip it around and get a pretty good rise. more

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Gen-Y 2-Ball Mount. This is going to give you the two hitch balls to allow you to hook your trailer up to your towed vehicle. The shank here will slide right into your 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver on your vehicle. You can see it does have the hitch pin hole here, but they do not include a hitch pin and clip or a lock, you probably already have one for your hitch, but if not, it's just your standard 5/8 inch diameter pin hole there, so you can use a 5/8 inch inch diameter pin and clip. We have lots of options available here at etrailer.com, we also have locking pins if you wanna add a little extra security, make sure that this stays on your hitch when you're not around. more

Hi there, heavy haulers. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at CURT's line of 3/4 inch rise, two-inch drop drawbars with a one-inch hole for its shank. We've got the 8 1/4 inch length model here hooked up to our trailer and installed in the hitch. And the one I'm holding in my hand is going to be the 10 1/4 inch length version. So, this one is gonna be a little bit longer. So if you need that extension, you've got it. more
