Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Honda Accord

Clayton: Hello, everyone. Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today I have a 2020 Honda Accord Sport. We'll be taking a look at, and I'll show you how to install, the Draw-Tite Class I Trailer Hitch receiver for the Sport frame. You might be wanting to get a trailer hitch just so you can put a bike rack or maybe a cargo carrier when you're going down the road, just to get any of that cargo from inside of your vehicle, outside, and then even with the bike rack. It's nice, because you don't have to try to load it on the back of our trunk or even on the roof or fold down our seats, and just cram our bikes inside. It's really nice having this option to put things on the back of our vehicle. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Honda Civic

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2015 Honda Civic, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver. So right off the bat, I think the hitch looks pretty good on the back of the Civic actually. Even though it is completely visible, it kind of has a batwing design and tapers off and just disappears back here. And it sits up nice and tight against the bottom of our Civic. With these cars riding pretty low to the ground, that's important. It's going to keep everything up nice and high, and you shouldn't have any issues there. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Honda HR-V

Hi there Honda owners. Today on your 2019 Honda HRV, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. This hitch is a Class I 1-1/4 by 1-1/4 receiver with a reinforced collar here at the back that gives it a more robust look. But what I like about this hitch is how far it's tucked underneath the vehicle, because the cross tube is exposed under it. But since we keep everything sucks so far back, we don't really notice anything, but the receiver here sticking out the back.It uses a 1/2 inch hitch pin and clip. Now, one doesn't come included with the hitch, but we've got plenty available here etrailer.com. more

Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed, the cross tube is going to sit right below the bumper. But the main thing we're going to see is the receiver tube, because our Accord does sit a little bit lower to the ground. So we're not going to see this as much unless we're kind of looking for it. Connor: Hey guys, Connor here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class three trailer hitch here on our 2020 Honda Pilot, and as you can see, our Draw-Tite class three trailer hitch has a really nice sleek, hidden design once installed. The crosstube is tucked up behind the rear bumper here, so the only part we see from outside the vehicle is the receiver tube here, which is the part we need. Now Draw-Tite has a really nice glossy powder coat finish, so it looks really good on the back of the vehicle as well, and another thing to note here is this trailer hitch sits up right below the rear bumper here; so this is going to give us the best ground clearance, that way we don't have any issues with any steep driveways or Hills or anything of that nature, so we don't ever have to worry about the hitch scraping. Now, another thing I really like about this draw tight trailer hitch is it has an included welded on trailer connector mounting bracket and this is essentially just kind of provide a really nice sleek look. We do offer these separately for the other hitches, but this one is included for you, so it's an extra part you don't have to buy. Today on your 2019 Honda Fit, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Draw-Tite's class one, one and a quarter inch trailer hitch receiver. This is what your hitch is going to look like when it's installed. The cross tube is going to be visible underneath the vehicle, but it's tucked back really far, so for the most part you only really see the receiver here at the back. It's a class one, one and a quarter, by one and a quarter receiver, so it's going to be great for light duty uses such as a bike rack or maybe a very small trailer that you might use to maybe take your garbage pails up to the dumpster or something. It uses a half inch hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com.It also features plate style safety chain loops, with a very large opening that should accommodate most safety chains. Today, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to walk you through the installation on the Draw-Tite Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver on your 2019 Honda Civic.Adding in a Class I Hitch to your vehicle is going to allow you to not only carry bike racks, but also put cargo carriers on there. It's going to make it a lot easier to put your bikes on a car, or on a bike rack, or a load yourself on a cargo carrier, here on a hitch, rather than trying to load it up on top on a roof rack. One thing you'll notice about this hitch that's really nice is, the cross tube is completely hidden behind our bumper fascia. The only thing we can really see is our receiver tube, so it stays looking very nice on the back of the vehicle. Now let's go ahead and give you a few measurements and weight ratings for this hitch. From the center of our hitch pin hole, to the outermost part of our bumper, is going to be about four inches. That number is important for any of your hitch mounted accessories that may fold up against your vehicle, like your bike racks and cargo carriers, and to make sure that they're not going to make contact. From the ground to the top innermost part of the receiver tube is going to be about 12 inches. more
