Bracket Installation Instructions for 15K Fifth Wheel Hitch # 30047 on a 2004 Ford Super Duty
Question:
I need instructions for mounting this fifth wheel hitch into my truck i just am not sure exactly how the L brackets go, on the inside? or the outside of the frame? can you use the 4 inner bed mount holes for mounting the hitch? or do you drill your own holes?

I have included the instructions for hitch, # RP30047, on your 2004 Ford Super Duty below. I have also included a link to the instructions for two installation kits. The first is for the custom installation kit and the second is the universal kit ( # RP50082-58 and # RP30035).
I also included a video showing installation of a 5th wheel hitch using the custom installation kit. Both kits do require some drilling. The universal kit will require more drilling and is a more difficult installation overall. The brackets will go on the outside of the frame.
