There are 5 things you will need when you plan on flat-towing any vehicle. You need the base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, lighting on the towed vehicle, and most states now require a supplemental brake system. I have attached links to some helpful articles about flat-towing you may want to check out.

In my research I found that your 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer weighs approximately 5,500 lbs. You will want to check your owner's manual in the Recreational Vehicle Towing section. It will explain what needs to be done when you want to flat-tow the vehicle.

The base plates I recommend that are designed to fit your Trailblazer if it is not an SS model are the Roadmaster Base Plates, part # 3109-1. These are a simple installation and come with the mounting hardware and instructions included.

The base plates will work well with the RoadMaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, part # RM-520. This tow bar has a weight capacity of 6,000 lbs.

The safety cables I recommend are the RoadMaster Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables, part # RM-643.

The lights you mentioned, part # RM-2120, are designed to work with 4-way flat connectors, and have strong magnets that secure the lights to your Trailblazer. They are easily removed when not towing.

The supplemental brake system I recommend is the Roadmaster Tow Bar Braking Systems, part # RM-9400. This proportional brake system is easy to use and portable.

I have attached links to a couple of product review videos you may want to take a look at.
