Roadmaster Tow Bar Features
Lets you disconnect your dinghy and tow bar the first time, every time, even when not parked on level ground Releases tension in the telescoping arm with the pull of a lever (this is accomplished by allowing the locked, telescoping arms to be unlocked, allowing for more movement and extension of the arms for unhooking)
Keeps tow bar up and out of the way Automatically latches tow bar into place when folded up Simply pull lever to release the tow bar StowMaster car-mounted tow bars have an alternative storage option that mounts on the dinghy when not being used and folds in on the crossbar
Each tow bar arm will have one channel through which wiring and safety cables can thread See chart for list of tow bars that come with integrated cable channels Sterling all-terrain model tow bars include safety cables and wiring with the integrated cable channel
Dinghy does not have to be the perfect distance from the RV to attach the tow bar Once the motor home and dinghy pull away in a straight line, the arms self-center and automatically lock into place
Two plates that interlock, connecting the drawbar arm of the base plate and the crossbar of the towbar The dinghy side of the quick disconnect is bolted to the base plate drawbar arms The tow bar side of the quick disconnect is typically integrated into the crossbar The base plate end and the tow bar end clasp together and are held in place using linch pin setup Quick disconnects are included with most Roadmaster tow bars (except the Tracker)
A crossbar can be the link between the tow bar arms and the base plates on the dinghy The crossbars included with Roadmaster tow bars are designed to be used with quick disconnects Crossbar is connected to the tow bar with pins and clips Crossbar is connected to the vehicle base plates using quick disconnects and linch pins Crossbars are not required for use with MX and MS base plates (vehicles that use MX or MS base plates have a stronger frame to support the weight of the vehicle while being towed) StowMaster tow bars cannot be detached from the crossbar (StowMaster tow bars are not compatible with MX or MS base plates)
