4-Way And 7-Way Adapter For 2014 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I have a 2014 tundra crewmax with factory tow package. I have a stowaway2 max hitch mount box that I want to install on the back of my Casita travel trailer. The problem Im having is that the factory sockets doesnt allow me to use both plugs at once due to the way its arranged. Will this adaptor allow me to use both plugs together at once? If not, please point me in the right direction. Thanks

Expert Reply:
If you have a 7-way connector on your 2014 Toyota Tundra, the harness I recommend is the Hopkins Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # HM11143395.
Both the 4-way and the 7-way connector are active at the same time on the harness. You may want to check your Tundra owner's manual for any information as to its wiring capacity to avoid any potential for overloading the vehicle circuit.
