Anti-Freeze Solution Recommendation for an Air Lift Air Suspension System In Northern California
Question:
I live in Northern California and experience say 10 day days a year where the temp s below freezing. I was reading the owners manual which mentions adding Gunk anti-freeze solution to the bags. My questions are: should I use the anti freeze fluid upon installation and get it over with? Will this harm anything? If I install a moisture filter after the compressor will this eliminate the need for the fluid? the compressor will be mounted outside. Should I use both, the moisture filter and the fluid? Thank You,

Most likely you would be fine with out either the gunk anti-freeze or the moisture filter since my cousin has this kit on his truck here in the Midwest where we get way more than 10 days of below freezing weather and he has yet to have a problem.
But if you wanted to be on the safe side, which is only thing I can recommend, I would recommend you go ahead and install the Gunk anti-freeze solution before the initial install that way you won't have to worry about it or mess with the bags again. This would not harm anything at all. A moisture filter would not be necessary at this point either.
