What Wire to Use to Power the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System on a 2013 Ram 3500

Question:

What wire do I look up to power up this system on a 2013 ram 3500 Laramie? The new electronics are complicated on these trucks. The instructions are not truck specific. The kit has fuse clips and a separate 15a fuse block. Do I use a fuse clip on a 10a existing fuse for my ignition and piggy back the 15a provided fuse block. The instructions are not real clear. The truck has a keyless ignition also with remote start feature. This only allows some functions to work until the user activates the ignition manually by pressing the start button and brake petal. Is there a specific wire that I should look for to power up the air lift wireless one system after the vehicle is fully up and running past the remote start phase.

I would run a wire to the fuse box under your hood and then find a circuit that only sees voltage when the key is on like the radio circuit. Tapping into a circuit there will be better because it will prevent the accessory the circuit powers from being deprived of power.

I would remove the fuse from the circuit you plan on using, test to determine which side of the fuse holder has the current on it and then use that side for attaching the fuse clip.

If you wanted the Airlift to kick on once the remote start phase is over you would need to find a circuit that does not come on till the remote start phase has passed. I would look around your vehicle before the remote start phase has passed and find the appropriate fuse related to that circuit and use that one.
