Front Hitch Availability for a 2013 Ford F150 4WD Ecoboost
Question:
Hi I am looking for a front hitch for a 2013 ford F150 ecoboost 4 wheel drive. My trailer weighs about 8000 lbs loaded and the tongue weight is about 1000 lbs . Is there a hitch you can recommend? I only need it to move the trailer when it is parked about 400 ft. Thanks

There is a front mounted hitch that is confirmed to fit your 2013 Ford F150 4WD with Ecoboost, part # 65061. However, this hitch does not have the capacity for your trailer as it only has a tongue weight rating of 500 lbs so I cannot recommend it for your application.
The best recommendation I can give you would be to use the rear hitch of your truck to maneuver your trailer as long as it has the capacity. It might be difficult to maneuver the trailer while in reverse, but with a little practice you should be able to back the trailer wherever you need to.
The Curt Rear Hitch part # C14002 would have the capacity needed for your trailer.
