5th Wheel Installation Kit for Dodge Ram Pickup

Question:

Hello there I am curious about getting a 5th wheel installation kit for my truck. Im looking at a used Reese 18,000lbs hitch with product number. I believe it comes with the rails and the installation bolts ect, however I do not want to drill my frame. I have a 201 ,dodge ram and cant void my warranty so Im trying to get a compatible no drill U bolt style kit. Just need help getting all the hardware and thanks very much in advance for helping me. Sorry if the info is vauge as its all I can get from the seller.

The Reese hitch you referenced, dual-jaw square-tube 16K slider # RP30051, will use different installation kits depending on the model year and version of your Ram. The model year you have is unclear (a digit is missing). I also do not know your series (1500, 2500 or 3500), cab style or your bed length and all of these factors affect the fit of installation kits.

Vehicle manufacturers like Dodge offer 5th wheel prep packages for their trucks, so unless something went very wrong with your installation the vehicle warranty is unlikely to be affected.

There may be a custom-fit bracket kit available that requires no frame drilling. If you will advise your model year, series, cab style and bed length I will be glad to check for availability. Such a custom-fit install kit would provide the attachment point for the rails.
