Installing Receiver Hitch on 2014 Toyota Avalon Hybrid

Reference: 2014 Hybrid Avalon, Toyota Im looking for a Class II hitch and found a Curt 12107 which has decent assembly/video instructions I dont like the idea of trimming the plastic underbody panel and heat shield!! I also found a Draw-Tite, 36540 , but cant find anything about assembly.. Do you have clear instructions you can send? Is there trimming required? Any other hitches out there? Any comments or suggestions are appreciated?

You are correct, installing the Curt Class II Receiver Hitch, # C12107, on your 2014 Toyota Avalon Hybrid would require you to trim the heat shield and plastic underbody panel.
Draw-Tite offers a custom fit hitch for your Avalon but according to the notes, installation would still require the trimming. I have attached the installation instructions for the Draw-Tite Hitch, # 36540, for you to take a look at.
