Recommendation for 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter to use with Fabex 560 Pin Box
Question:
I see the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter will fit on a Fabex 600 series pin box. The ad says nothing about a Fabex 560 series box. I need to know if I can use either RP94622 or RP94622-61301 or am I not able to use a Goose Box adapter on this box? Thank You in advance

For the Fabex 560 pin box, one option for a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter would be the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter with Offset, # CAB-C5GX1216. The offset design of this adapter provides additional clearance when making turns which is extremely valuable when towing with a short bed truck.
Convert-A-Ball also offers part # CAB-C5G which is the adapter without the offset. I have included a couple of videos for you to check out.
The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter, # RP85FR, was designed to replace the Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD pin boxes and the Fabex PB-600 Series pin boxes.
The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter, # RP94716-61301, was designed to replace the Lippert 0115, 1116 and 1716 pin boxes.
Neither of these were designed to replace the Fabex 560 pin box.
