Installing TowReady Wiring 7-Way Trailer Harness # 118266 in 2011 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
I have a 2011 Pathfinder SE and installing the 118266 7 way kit. My pathfinder already has a 4 pin flat. The white connector in the 118266 kit is a 6 pin but the pathfinder has an 8 pin connector on the car. Should the white 6 pin fit into the original 8 pin connector? Thanks.

My contact at TowReady has heard of similar issues arising where Nissan changed the connectors used on certain Pathfinder and Frontier vehicles. The part you ordered is the correct item for a 4-pole-equipped truck like yours and it is designed for your vehicle. The different connectors supplied by Nissan unfortunately are the issue.
I suggest you contact your local dealership to see if they can offer you a 7-way wiring harness that will fit the connector installed on your truck.
