Today we're going to be reviewing part number HM47735. This is the Hopkins Plug In Simple Brake Control Wiring Adapter. This particular one is designed to fit the Ford Super Duty vehicles, so to see if this is going to fit your particular year you can refer to the vehicle fit guide on our website. This adapter is going to simplify the installation of your Hoplins Simple Brake Controller. It's going to connect your Brake Controller to your vehicle's factory tow package. The flat plug on this side of the wiring is going to plug into the back of your electric brake controller. Then this plug right here is going to be a custom fit to fit into the plug of the factory installed port under your dashboard in your Super Duty. One of the great things about this wiring system is that it does not require any cutting or splicing of wires for an installation.
All you have to do is plug them into the ports. It's going to work on a variety of Hopkins Brake Controllers that have the female connector on the back of the controller, just like the one right here that's on the Agility. Really simple connection. All you have to do is take the 2 units, plug them in together until it snaps into place. To remove it all you have to do is lift up on the tab, wiggle it loose from the connection point until it's fully disconnected. The amount of wiring that you're going to have between the plugs is going to measure 36 inches. You can see that at multiple points along the plug it has tape.
