Recommendation for 5.3-12 Trailer Tires

Question:

I need tires for a trailer with 5.3-12, 4 on 4 and hub centering 2.5 inch pilot hole. I have little clearance for wider tires but fenders are rempoved. Can you help?

If you are in need of tires only, Kenda offers three different load ranges for a 5.3-12 trailer tire. The Load Range B tires, # AM10064, come with a maximum load rating of 840 pounds at 55 psi, Load Range C, # AM10066, with a maximum load rating of 1,045 pounds at 80 psi, and the Load Range D, # AM10068, a maximum load rating of 1,250 pounds at 105 psi.

Hub-centric wheels center on the hub using the hub bore and wheel bolts rather than lug nuts to attach to the hub. If your wheels are indeed hub-centric, you would want new wheels with the same pilot hole diameter as your current wheels because the wheels must center on the hub bore. If the pilot hole is larger, then the wheel will not stay centered on the hub and could move. If the pilot hole is smaller, the wheel may not fit on the hub at all.

If you are looking for 4 on 4 bolt wheel that is hub centric with a 2.5 inch diameter pilot hole, we do not have one available . All of our 4 on 4, 12 inch wheels have a 2.8 or 2.84 inch pilot hole.
