Weight Distribution System Recommendation for a Trailer with 350 lbs of Tongue Weight
Question:
my trailer weighs 3000 lbs, and my tongue is 350. If I overbuy a wdh, thats very bad. I need to find the smallest one I can find. your descriptions are misleading. in one area it says 400, in another, 550. which is it?

You want to pick out a weight distribution that has a tongue weight range that matches up well with the tongue weight of your trailer. Getting a system rated too high will result in an overly stiff ride, and if you go too low the system won't distribute any weight to the front axles. Right in the middle is ideal.
For your 350 lbs of tongue weight the Reese Weight Distribution System # RP66540 would be ideal. This system has a tongue weight range of 200-600 lbs which would be ideal for you. I attached an FAQ article on weight distribution systems for you to check out as well.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90, for a 2-5/16 inch ball you would want part # 19286.
