Hey Danniel,

If you don't already have a 7-way or 4-way on the back of your motorhome then you'll need to start with the Curt 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector with Circuit Protected Powered Tail Light Converter # C85FV. This will splice into your factory tail light wiring and run up to the battery for power. From there you can install the # ETBC7 7-way kit. This will plug into the 4-pole wire harness for the lights and have wires to run to power/ground and up to the brake controller.

Once all the wiring is in place you can start installing a brake controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness # RED52VR. This brake controller takes up the least amount of space on the dash compared to any other option and gives you a factory look. It will come with a splice in wire harness that needs to run to power/ground, the brake controller output wire from the # ETBC7 and to the cold side of the brake light switch.

You can find the cold side of the brake light switch by probing # PTW2993 the wires coming from the top of the brake pedal. You'll want to find the wire that only has power when the brake pedal is being depressed. If you can't find this wire then you can just install a stop light switch kit # RM-751000 to simulate this signal.
