Do Pro-Eagle Universal 5th Wheel Hitch Base Rails Work with Reese or BandW Hitches

My current installed hitch: Pro Eagle Fifth Wheel Hitch by Brophy Hi-Valu Products Part # Description Mfg. # 28-700 Pro-Eagle 5th Wheel 15K - Quality S 28-701 Bed Rails and Bolt Kit for 18-700 22” front to back 20 3/4” wide. 28-701-H Universal Rail Kit UNIVERSAL 5TH WHEEL BASE RAIL KIt My Pickup is 07 Dodge RAM 2500, 4x4 short bed with extended cab. I would like to upgrade to a Reese Reese or BandW Patriot 16k. Can I one of these onto my present rails or do I have to make modifications

Universal 5th wheel rail kits like the Pro-Eagle 28-701-H use an industry-standard design. This allows flexibility in choosing a 5th wheel hitch from any of several brands. The Reese base rail kit you referenced, part # RP30035, is also a standard 5th wheel rail kit that also can accept hitches from many manufacturers. The B and W Patriot rated at 16K, part # BWRVK3200, will fit your rails, as will the Reese # RP30047.
