Idler Hub Recommendation for a Trailer that has # 84 Spindles
Question:
I want to a change my dexter brake hub to a hub that has no brakes. Ido not know anything about this axle. It is a axle with 2.370 diameter, seal measures 1.715, inner bearing is1.375, outer bearing is 1.060, threads measure.90. There is a grease fitting in the end of the axle shaft. The axle nut locks on using a d washer and a d lock ring. Can you tell me anything about this axle and what part number is needed to replace this hub to a hub that has no brakes and what size wheel I can use on the replacement hub. Thanks for your help

Based on the inner diameters of the bearing you gave it looks like you have a number 84 spindle.
For an idler hub that would fit your hub that has a 5 on 4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern you would want the Dexter Hub part # 84545UC1-EZ. If you have a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern you would want the Trailer Hub Assembly part # 84655UC1-EZ.
If you are unsure of what bolt pattern you have check out the FAQ article I attached determining bolt patterns.
