Where Does a Brake Controller Plug Into on a 2004 Nissan Xterra
Question:
Can someone give me a link to a diagram so I can find the under dash plug to hook my 47635 to on my 2004 Nissan Xterra?

The likely location for the factory plug on your 2004 Nissan Xterra is under the dash, to the left of the steering column, near the emergency brake pedal. Sometimes the factory harness can be taped to another harness, fall behind a kick panel, or be tucked up under the dash and you will have to fish for it.
If you just cannot find it then you will need to hardwire in the brake controller. You can still use the # HM47635 wiring harness but you will need to cut off the end that normally would plug into the vehicle.
If the Xterra already has a factory 7-Way, which I assume it does if you are using a plug and play type of wiring harness, then you will just need installation kit # 5506. You can then follow the relevant parts of the help article and video I have linked.
