Replacement Idler Hub and Bearing Buddy For a UFP H1377 Hub

Question:

I’m looking for parts to replace my hub assembly and bearing buddy. I took old hub assembly off my trailer and it says ufp h1377, is there a part for that? Also, is there a bearing buddy that will fit that? And, can I use new bearing buddies on top of my old zero fitting? It’s the spindle type with a zerk fitting on the end. Thank you

Expert Reply:

We have found the UFP is an idler hub which fits a #84 spindle. So if you wanted to keep your hub and bearing buddy you would use the Bearing Kit # BK2-100. Otherwise if you wanted to switch to a new hub we have our Idler Hub # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K which has the most common 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. This would use the Bearing Buddy # BB1980A-SS but you will need to remove the grease zerk from the end of your spindle.
