Wiring Needed To Operate Winch On Trailer From Truck Battery

Would this be suitable to run a winch. Winch will be on a trailer. Need a cord to run from truck battery to trailer hitch. Redarc mc4 cable

You are going to need a kit like the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit # BDW20207 to carry enough power to run a winch on your trailer. The Redarc MC4 Output Cable # RED48VR is much to thin to carry the amount of power needed to run your winch and would burn up. The kit above would allow you to attach the wiring to your truck. We also have the Bulldog Winch Booster Cable Set # BDW20197 if you do not want the wiring installed on your truck.
