Will Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Fit on 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss Z71 Trail Boss

Question:

Hi There, I have a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trail Boss Z71 that I would like to tow behind my Class A RV. I have previously towed my Jeep behind the RV, so the RV side of things is ready. I have the necessary tow bar and cables as well. I want to make sure that I have selected the correct items to tow the Silverado. Here is my list - - Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - HM39494 - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles - RM-156-25 - Roadmaster Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Flat Tow Brake System - Gas - RM-766 - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit - RM-15267 - 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps - RM-9332 -Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms - BLU24TR Could you please comment on my selections and also I wanted to make sure that the Base Plate Kit will fit with the Trail Boss grill. Thank you

Your list looks really good for your 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss Z71, but the Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494 actually connects directly to your battery for power and it has a battery charger included with it as well so you should be able to ditch the charge line kit and the 12V outlet kit unless you were planning on using them for something else. This means your list of parts required should be the following:

- Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494
- Roadmaster Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766
- Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU24TR
- Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751495

According to my research you shouldn't see any issues with the Trail Boss grill since it occupies the same area as the standard grill. The only differences look to be cosmetic and the base plate kit installs where the tow hooks are so you'll want to keep that in mind.
