Can Flat Towed Vehicle with Separate Turn Signals be Wired as Combined
Question:
I asked this before but the answer was not clear to me. My Mini dingy has combined stop and running lights in one bulb. The turn signals are completely separate bulbs Will a flat four wire plug set up work if I just tap into the brake light wires knowing the running lights will not work? I never drive at night so not worried about no running lights but for sure want stop lights Your previous answer was about if the turn signals and brakes were both on one bulb which is not the case here

Tow bar lighting solutions like the Roadmaster kit part # RM-15267 that wire the vehicle as a combined setup can be installed on vehicles that have separate setups. The kit would install on the stoplights that also have the running light function since regardless of combined or separate those two circuits at least are always on the same bulbs.
So you can install the Roadmaster kit on your setup and the stoplights, turn signals, and running lights will all still function.
