Can you please help me out and give me a Blue Ox flat tow set up for my 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500? The base plates and tow bar, the other parts don't have to be Blue Ox if they're good. Thanks!!

No problem at all, we can absolutely get your 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 a Blue Ox flat towing set up. To make it easy to order, I'll go ahead and list out the correct parts for you:

- Base Plate Kit: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU24TR

- Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380

- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267

- Roadmaster Battery Disconnect - Diesel Engine # RM93MR OR Gas Engine # RM-766

- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR

- Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Wire Kit # DM66VR

The Blue Ox base plates were a really nice choice for your Silverado because Blue Ox has a deserved reputation for the quality of their base plates, and they also give your truck a nice, clean look when you aren't towing it due to their removable arms.

For the tow bar, the Alpha 2 is super easy to use, connecting with arms that self-align; you just connect the tabs and drive your motorhome forward. Disconnecting is easy too, even when you're not on level ground, because you simply turn a handle on the bar to disengage. The tow bar has a 6,500 lb capacity, which is well over what your Chevy weighs, and even comes with safety cables so you don't have to purchase those separately.

I really like the Flexo-Coil wiring kit because it is designed to prevent any type of electrical feedback, keeping your truck's electrical system safe, and the charge line kit will keep your battery charged as it is being towed. The battery disconnect makes it easy to disconnect when towing, just get the right one depending on if you have the gas or diesel engine.

As for the braking system, the Stay-IN-Play DUO is easily the best because it gives you braking proportional to that of your motorhome. So when you hit the brakes on your motorhome, your truck is going to get the same amount of braking power, resulting in much smoother braking than other systems.
