To flat tow your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4 you'll need a tow bar, base plate, tow bar wiring kit, breaking system, and safety cables. I have the following recommendations for you:

Tow Bar: Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Light # RM-676. This tow bar features non-binding latches and a large hookup radius to make connecting and disconnecting on any terrain a breeze. It also includes a 6-way to 7-way adapter cable and 6-way socket as well as safety cables. It has integrated LED lights illuminate with your RV tail lights that make it easy to hookup or disconnect in the dark.

Base Plate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-3176-3. These direct-connect brackets will mount directly to the frame of your Silverado. The removable arms will provide a clean look when not in use.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Since the Nighthawk already has the adapter cable and socket included you'll just need the diodes and some wiring which you can get with # RM-152. This diode kit allows you to use your vehicle's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV.

You will need to disconnect the battery to flat tow so if you would like this to be as easy as flipping a switch instead of having to physically remove the negative battery cable and reattach it every time you can install the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System # RM-766.

Braking System: For an easy to install braking system that won't break the bank I recommend the Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494. This system offers reliable braking with a lightweight, portable body. The actuator unit applies the towed car's brakes after receiving signal via internal inertia sensor. The braking power settings let you adjust brake intensity based on your towed car's weight. This system also comes with a charge line kit that will keep your Silverado's battery charged while you tow.

Safety Cables: Since the Nighthawk has safety cables included you won't have to purchase any separately.

You may also require a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level between the Bounder and the Silverado. This requires some measuring on your part so I've attached our help article to walk you through the process of determining the correct rise/drop needed for your application.

The remote for the Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494 has an indicator light that will light up every time the system is applying pressure to the brakes of your Silverado. Because of this you will not need a stop light switch. If you were using a different supplemental braking system without an braking indicator then you would need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751463 if your vehicle has an adjustable brake pedal, or # RM-751488 if your vehicle does not have an adjustable brake pedal.
