Recommended Hitch for a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 SUV
Question:
Hi, I have a 2018 glc 300 4matic. I am looking to either carry 2 dirt bikes with 200+250 lb weights in total. What hitch would serve this ? Also I might decide to tow a trailer or buy a rack...not sure yet as my car manual says max toungue weight is only 300lbs. Thank you. appreciate your help.

To add a hitch to a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 SUV you will want the Draw-Tite item # DT87YR. This class III 2" hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Mercedes with included hardware. This hitch is listed at having a 675 lbs tongue weight capacity but you will want to go off of your Benz's 300 lbs capacity. Hitch manufacturer's make the capacities higher because the hitches fit different trims or even vehicles that can tow more.
I have linked an installation video below to show you have to get it set up.
If you end up towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 118747 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
The Draw-Tite item # DT87YR is the only hitch available for the GLC300 SUV. I saw that you said car if you have the GLC300 Coupe then you'll want the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit item # SH64GR.
