Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your rear cargo area. You will have to remove the rear threshold plate and access panels to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Hitch had some shipping scars also. Second or third hitch from you so I am a repeat customer.

It is hot and raining so I haven't installed my new trailer/car light kit. But, I have it out of the box, right off it didn't say China. The quality, fit, packing, spare parts and even the directions made more sense. This is designed in USA and made in Mexico. Looks to be a great product.
After one year, the wiring harness looks and functions perfect. Nice quality wire and connectors.
I purchased this product for my 2018 GLC 300.
It works really great and I highly recommend this product. It was super easy to connect the original harness no need to find what color for a signal.
The only thing that you have to figure out is the 12 volt to the battery connection. Lucky that Mercedes-Benz glc300 has the fuse box on the trunk so no need to run a cable all the way to the front.
Have not installed it yet, but it looks like good quality and exactly what I need. Wanted a wiring harness to add to GLC300 without splicing into the production wires.
Plan to update after install with how it went.
This T-one harness from Tekonsha makes the installation easy without cutting any wires in the vehicle, will not void the vehicles warranty.
