Parts Needed To Install Tow Bar Lighting and Charge Line Kit 2013 Ford Edge
Question:
I am putting together a flat tow setup for my 2013 Ford Edge AWD 3.5 L , which will be pulled behind a 2012 21 QB Coachmen Freelander E350. I have the Blue Ox tow bar and bracket for the ford. I have decided to install the Demco Stay-In-Play Duo Brake System with wireless coachlink monitor. I have the cables, safety chains, hitch riser for connection. What I would like to know is which lighting wire harness system and charge line kit and any other wiring or lighting needs are required to complete my system? My RV has a 7 pin connector.

Hopkins has a custom fit tow bar wiring kit that fits your 2013 Ford Edge with the part # HM56001 that installs by plugging inline with the taillight wiring harness. Then for a umbilical to connect from this to your RV 7-way you would want the part # HM47075 which has an extra pin you can use for the charge circuit.
To then add a charge line you'd need to install the part # RM-156-25 on the Escape and then change the 4-way of the Hopkins kit to a 5-way with the part # 20017.
