What To Do When Your Freshwater Tank Is Filling Up When On City Water

My freshwater tank is now filling up and leaking when I connect to city water. This is a new issue.

If your freshwater tank is filling up with water when on city water then the gasket inside your water pump has failed and is allowing water to backflow. This is typically caused by not using a regulator # A01-1124VP on high pressure city water systems, improper winterization allowing water to freeze in the pump, or the gasket just failed due to age/usage.

You'll want to check the psi and gpm listed on your current pump so that you can determine the correct replacement. I've attached a short video below of the Seaflo Diaphragm Pump for Boats and RVs # SE57FR to give you a better idea of the replacement process. You can easily do it yourself so I wouldn't pay the dealership to install it.
