Recommended 2011 Honda CR-V Parts for Towing a Trailer
Question:
I need to get my 2011 CRV set up for towing a small trailer. What do you recommend for this?

I recommend installing the following on your 2011 Honda CR-V to get it setup for towing:
- EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7291
- Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143145
- Mounting Brackets # 18136 and # 18144
- Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534
The EcoHitch is my favorite trailer hitch for your CR-V because it's the only option with a hidden crosstube. This gives you a great looking hitch but also promotes better ground clearance since only the receiver sits below the bumper.
The wiring is plug-in so it's simple to install and then the mounting brackets give you a way to keep the 4-Way wiring next to your hitch receiver for easy access.
The Curt Towing Starter Kit provides everything else you need to tow a small trailer as well as a receiver cover to protect your reciver and give it a finished look when you aren't towing.
