The Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit # C16200 you referenced has not been confirmed to fit a 2016 Ram 2500 so you would instead need the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16427-204. This would allow you to mount your Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16120 in the bed of your Ram.

To make connecting your 7-way connector from the trailer to the Ram I also recommend installing an in-bed 7-way like the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-Pole # PK11893-11932.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
