The difference between the Roadmaster Baseplate Kit # RM37VR and # RM27MR is that the # RM37VR will not fit AT4 models and the # RM27MR is designed to fit AT4 models. You'll just need to choose the corresponding option for your specific model. If you haven't picked out the rest of your flat towing components then I have the following recommendations:

Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates # e74ZR. This tow bar comes with safety cables bracketed to the arms so that you won't have to purchase them separately or worry about them dragging.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit will splice into the factory wiring to display your motorhome's traffic signals through the tail lights of your Canyon.

The battery will need to be disconnected in order to flat tow so I recommend also picking up the Roadmaster Battery Disconnect # RM-766 to make this as easy as pressing a button.

Braking System: If your motorhome has hydraulic brakes then I recommend the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251, and for air brakes the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243. Both of these systems have an indicator light to display when the brakes are being applied that will need to tap into the brake light switch wire on your Canyon. Since yours isn't useable you'll need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751472 in order to get the signal.
