Is There a Base Plate Kit That is Confirmed to Fit the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado
Question:
Do you have the base plate for a Chevy Colorado 2023.

Expert Reply:
Yes, we do have a base plate that is confirmed to fit your 2023 Chevrolet Colorado. That is the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU85CR.
In addition to the base plate kit, you will need at least 4 other main parts to flat tow your Colorado. Those parts are a tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system. I have included a list of these parts below that work with your Colorado and that Blue Ox base plate kit.
Tow Bar: Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380 (also includes the needed safety cables)
Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
The Roadmaster Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Flat Tow Brake System # RM-766 can be added to make disconnecting your battery easier. (cannot be used on diesel vehicles or vehicles with dual batteries).
Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
It is also important to check the owners manual for your 2023 Chevrolet Colorado to ensure that you are doing everything that is required and recommended to be done in order to flat tow your Colorado.
