Replacement AC Options For A 2000 Winnebago Brave 35C Class A Motorhome

Question:

I have a 2000 Winnebago Brave 35c. The rear ac went out. It runs off its own line into 110, as 30 amp wasn’t enough power to run front and back. Stock is 13,500. Looking for the proper replacement unit for the rear. Thank you.

If you're just wanting to replace the rooftop unit and keep the rest of the equipment that you currently have then you'll just want to see how it connects to the controller. It can have a 6-pin connector, 9pin connector, or be hardwired in. If you have 6-pin connector then you can go with the Furrion # FR26PR. For a 9-pin connector you'll need part # FR82PV to get a wire harness adapter. If the unit is hardwired you'll need to reach out to Furrion and the manufacturer of the current AC unit and determine the wire functions so you can swap over to the new unit.

If you want to replace the entire setup then you'll just need part # FR52PR if you want the controls up on the air distribution box or part # FR95PV if you'd prefer a wall thermostat.
