Recommended Replacement for Dometic Duo-Therm RV Air Conditioner
Question:
I have a Sunnybrook Travel Trailer with: 1. Dometic Duo-Therm Air Conditioner, Model No. 59516.603 2. Dometic Duo-Therm Thermostat, Model No. 3106463.007 I need to replace the both the Air Conditioner and possibly the Thermostat. Could you recommend a replacement for both. I would like to use the existing Thermostat wiring if possible.

We do offer a direct replacement for the Dometic Duo-Therm RV Air Conditioner. The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner part # ACM135 for 13.5K or part # ACM150 for 15K is what I recommend. This unit will be a plug and play fit and it will work with your existing thermostat. If you replace the thermostat you're looking at an entire new system and this will require wiring so unless yours no longer works I recommend keeping it.
The complete system is part # ACM135C for 13.5K or part # ACM150C for 15K. These don't use wall controllers, the controllers are on the distribution box.
