Recommended Frame Mounted Camper Tie-Downs For A 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
I have a 2001 silverado 2500 and not sure what the without board or step underneath truck bed is referring to. It has a hitch, but since I am not the original owner I am not 100 positive that it is a factory installed hitch - but I believe it is. I think this is the right one for me but wanted to ask: Code: TLC2205-TLC3205 Thanks.

The distinction you're referring to is about whether or not your Silverado has running boards or steps that sit under the bed and could block the fitment of a frame mounted camper tie-down. The hitch stipulation is in place because some people will install a TorkLift SuperHitch and they offer tie-downs that can be easily bolted to it instead of mounting separately to the frame.
If you do not have running boards or a step in the way then yes, the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Front # TLC2205 and rear # TLC3205 would be the correct fit for you. To complete your setup you'll also want some turnbuckles like the TorkLift AnchorGuard Derringer Turnbuckles for Truck Camper Tie-Downs # TLS9020.
