Your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 on your 2004 Toyota Tacoma is showing no trailer connected because you only have the 5-Way flat connector on your trailer. The 5-Way carries the basic trailer light functions and that 5th pin is typically for the reverse lockout function on a trailer with a hydraulic actuator. Your trailer needs to have a 7-Way connector with wiring running to your trailer brakes in order for the P3 to properly recognize it and send the power to your brakes.
If your Magic Tilt trailer really does have a 5-Way with that 5th pin going to your trailer electric brakes then you need to add a Junction Box # 38656 and 7-Way Wiring # H20046, as well as a ring terminal # 44-5310A for each wiring connection in the junction box. The nice thing about the box is that everything is labeled so connecting your wiring is much simpler than splicing everything together.
