Good catch; I checked directly with the manufacturer and verified the weight capacity is 20,000 lbs for the Shocker Hitch XRC Cushioned Ball Mount - 2-5/16" Ball - 7-1/2" Drop # SHK94RR.
There was a previous rating of 12,000 lbs but the part changed and the 20,000 lb capacity is correct. So if you need up to that amount of capacity you can use the # SHK94RR, and I do recommend locking the ball mount as well as platform by using the InfiniteRule Locking Pins for Shocker Hitch Ball Mounts # IR39FR.
