Does Towing 2018 Palomino Puma with 2020 Chevy 2500 Short Bed Require Slider Hitch
Question:
I have a 2020 Chevy 2500 with an almost 7 ft bed. Do I need a hitch with a slide or would I be ok with a stationary one? Im hauling a 2018 Palomino Puma 32 ft fifth wheel

Since the nose of your 2018 Palomino Puma has a taper to it, the trailer has an extended pin box, and the short bed of your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 is on the slightly longer side you could get away with a fixed hitch instead of a slider. So you could go with the fixed B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3710 and you'd have a really nice hitch and wouldn't have turning issues. This hitch is also only option that has some offset built into the head depending on how you install the arms that attach to the head so you can gain clearance there as well.
